Privacy

This site is run by Pete Lindemere (The Infinite Bass). It keeps things simple:

Contact form

When you send a message through the contact form, your name, email address and message are emailed to Pete so he can reply, and a copy is kept in a private log on the web server, so that a genuine message is never lost if the email goes astray and so spam can be filtered out. Your details are not shared with anyone else or used for marketing, and if you would like your message deleted, just ask.

Free PDF downloads

When you request the free PDFs, your email address (and first name, if you give one) is stored in a private list so the PDFs can be emailed to you. If you tick the updates box, Pete may occasionally email you about new free lessons or PDFs — and you can unsubscribe at any time by replying or getting in touch. If you leave the box unticked, your address is used only to send the PDFs. Either way it is never shared with anyone else.

Bookings

Online lesson bookings are handled by Lessonface, whose own privacy policy applies to the details you enter when booking. This site does not collect or store any booking information itself.

Analytics & embedded content

This site runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Like almost every website, the web server keeps standard access logs (page requested, time, IP address and browser type) which are used only for security and to see roughly how the site is being used. Video lessons are embedded from YouTube using its privacy-enhanced player, which sets no cookies until you press play. The contact page embeds a Google Map.

Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies. Third-party services mentioned above may set their own when you interact with them.
